Overview
The NeuTrafiX (NTX) Marketplace facilitates the secure and compliant transaction of virtual numbers by incorporating a verification document workflow. This documentation outlines the procedural steps for sellers to require document verification for virtual number transactions and for buyers to comply with these requirements, adhering to the high standards of security and user experience reminiscent of Apple's developer documentation.
Configuring Verification Requirements for Sellers
Setting Up Verification
Upon listing a virtual number on the NTX Marketplace, sellers have the option to mandate document verification for potential buyers. This is achieved through the activation of the "Documents Verification Required" checkbox within the listing process. Additionally, sellers must provide specific guidance for buyers in the "Notes for Buyers" field, detailing necessary steps for compliance, including KYC document submission or any pertinent verification links.
Traffic Handling Prior to Verification
Selecting the "Documents Verification Required" option signifies that the virtual number is already directed towards NTX servers, in line with the Authentication Rules documentation. To ensure security, SIP/SMPP traffic to the number is blocked, preventing unauthorized use until the completion of the verification process. This feature enables sellers to securely list their numbers with the assurance that they will not be utilized prematurely.
Guidelines for Buyers
Initiating a Purchase
When purchasing a virtual number that necessitates verification, buyers will be presented with the seller’s instructions within the "Notes for Buyers." These instructions are also dispatched via email and include comprehensive details for submitting KYC documents directly to the seller. A notification on the confirmation page reiterates that the number will not receive traffic until the verification process is concluded.
Document Submission Process
Buyers are required to adhere to the seller’s instructions for KYC document submission meticulously. Prompt and accurate compliance with these instructions defined by the seller is crucial for advancing to the verification stage.
Verification Completion and Activation
Seller’s Verification and Approval
Upon receipt of the necessary documents from the buyer, the seller is tasked with reviewing the submissions for compliance. Once verified, the seller will update the number’s status to "Docs Verified" within the NTX portal, indicating successful document verification.
Activation Notification
Following the seller's approval, an email alert is dispatched to the buyer, confirming that the virtual number has been verified and is now active, ready to accept incoming traffic. This marks the fulfillment of the verification requirement, and the number is fully operational.
Security Measures
In alignment with privacy and security best practices, the NTX Marketplace does not facilitate the direct transfer of KYC documents through its platform. This precautionary measure is to safeguard sensitive and personal information, necessitating that all document transmissions occur directly between the buyer and seller.
